I didn't know about L. Tom Perry's death until your letters! That is so sad! He was always to happy and joyful. I loved seeing him at BYU basketball games. He was there for almost every single one I'm sure!
You are definitely right about it being the rainy season here! It rains every single day. Not all day though so there is still sun. But when there is sun it is really hot and humid. As always, I'm either wet from rain or from sweat.

This transfer I feel, has been absolutely crazy! We have these crazy weeks all the time where you just look back thinking, "What did we do this week?!" We were still both getting over our colds this week so that took a toll. We do a TON of biking. It will take 40 mins to get to some appointments. Biking honestly takes a big chunk of our day.
So this week, man! Well, we biked to district meeting which is in Koewarason. That's a pretty long bike ride. We are seeing this woman named Roxanna. She is from Wanica North. She is a really cool lady! She is 28 and has 4 kids. She is super solid and reading from her Book of Mormon. She is in 2 Nephi. We also taught her sister this week too who is really sweet.
Lucratia and that whole family are awesome! They are a really prepared family. Sunday was a crazy amount of rain so not many people were in church. Lucratia didn't come. We can't decide what to do with her concerning her baptism this week. She's been to church plenty of times but it would have been nice to see her there the week before her baptism. We'll see!
Kosviello and family are doing well! We fasted for them this week and then had a really great lesson and testified of the Book of Mormon and Jesus Christ. Marveel seems to be back on track and excited. We are going to have FHE with them tonight.
We are teaching Dobien who is Kosviello's cousin. She is really cool. She is 15 and already reading and gaining a testimony. She came to church this week with her younger brother. She loved it! Which was surprising to me because I didn't think it was a great Sunday but whatever!
On Saturday we went to Tamengha for some baptisms and then went to a mission farewell for a sister here. Her name is Cheniffa and she is awesome. She is going to Atlanta, Georgia.

I also ran into this wooden board from off a house. I turned right into it. It didn't hit my eyes though but I have an ugly scab. It'll be ok though!
Ran into a board! |
I have to say I'm pretty sad to be missing the beach. I've been thinking of it all week! But next summer we can all be there. Send me pictures!
I love hearing about your mission mom and dad! It seems like you two must be busy all the time! Yes, we have Self Reliance classes here. What's big happening here is BYU-I pathway. It's such an awesome program. Do they do that there? The rain here floods people's houses but it just seems like they are used to it because it doesn't seem to bother many people.

Love you all,
